I am looking for a Windows form control like Internet Explorer 7's Favorites
menu.  I would like to populate it with entries from a database.

Does anyone know of an existing control that will give me this capability
(I'm willing to purchase it as well) - or do I have to create a custom
control inheriting from TreeView?

Thanks

What do you mean "like IE's Favorites menu" ? Isn't that just a treeview?

IE 7's is probably based on a treeview but seems to do more. For instance,
the folders become underlined when you hover over them, and a blue arrow
appears indicating there are items in a folder.

I was hoping to find something "out of the box" that will give me that look
without having to spend a lot of time creating a custom control.

I think I have found a control that will do this (Purecomponent's Navigator
control).  But if there is a built-in way to emulate this control (without
spending a lot of time) I would be interested.

I don't know. You'd probably have to create your own control to do this.
Hopefully if somebody else knows differently, they will post an answer.
