Install both VS 6.0 AND .NET 7.1 ?

Can I have VS 6.0 AND .NET 7.1 both installed on the same machine. I
have some projects that require .NET, but others don't and I prefer to
use 6.0 for those.

I currently have VC6 SP5 (C++) and VC 7.1 (C++/C#) installed on the same
machine and having been using them both (sometimes at the same time) to
convert an app. I have yet to see any issues.

However, I am looking forward to someone telling me what I haven't seen :-)
