Justification for upgrading VC6

I'm doing regular C++ development with VC6 and have no pressing need to
run on the dotNet framework.

Can anyone offer compelling reasons to switch to Visual C++.net or
Visual Studio.net that would justify the cost.  We have a tight budget
and justifying $450 to upgrade VC6 Pro to the equivalent dotNet is going
to be tough.  Customers are not requesting dotNet and have just
standardized on Windows 2000.  Mass deployment of dotnet framework might
also be a tough sell.

Thanks
Chuck

Chuck,

Unless you have a requirement or desire to use the more conformant C++
compiler in VS, then there seems little point for your needs.
