On my xp home sp1 machine I had visual studio 6. I installed vb 6 and then
the service pack 6 for vb 6. When I ran vb 6, the splash screen had "SP 6" on
it. But now I have a new hard drive and re-installed win xp home with sp2.
After installing visual studio vb 6 and the vb 6 sp6, I no longer get the "SP
6" on the VB splash screen or the help|about. It just says it's version 6.

Is it not possible to upgrade to vb 6 sp6 with win xp home sp2?

How can I get VB 6 SP 6 installed on my win xp home sp2 machine?
