After installing (and attempting multiple times to uninstall/re-install) the
MSDN Library for Visual Studio 2005 I can access everything just fine.  Once
I close the Document Explorer the following execution of 'Help' will cause a
crash, in-fact, I don't even have to close the Document Explorer...if I just
close the 'detail' window (after selecting something from an index or
contents) the next attempt to display details will also cause the crash.  It
doesn't matter if I access 'Help' directly from the MSDN link or Visual
Studio 2005, the crash will occur (in msenv.dll).  I have gone through some
pains to attempt to get this resolved with no success and am hoping someone,
somewhere may have had the same problem and has a resolution.

I have the same problem and have also gone through some pains to sort it.
One thing that I have found is that the problem does not exist if I boot
into safe mode then every thing then works fine! I am runing XP Pro Sp2. But
despite disabling / deinstalling all of the obvious candidates that don't
get loaded in safe mode I still can not resolvethe problem running normally.
