Does Microsft stop support for VS 6.0???

Hi All,
I heard that Microsoft is going to stop producing/supporting Visual Studio
6.0 in some time. Is that true? If that is so, will there be any problem for
the current VS 6.0 applications?

It might be absured, but bear me and explain me if am wrong.

It depends which parts of Visual Studio 6.0 you're referring to. All Visual
C++ support terminates at the end of September, but there is some VB 6.0
support until 2008 if I understand the charts here:
