All of a sudden I cannot use the Add Event wizard. I add a button on my
properties page and then I right click on it and go to add event. Then I hit
add and edit with BN_CLICKED selected and visual studio locks up. I have
tried rebooting and I have even done the repair/reinstall from the cd. What
can I do to get this working again? Do I have to completely remove and
reinstall?

Just an update, I have now completely uninstalled and reinstalled Visual
Studio .NET 2003 and the ad event wizard still locks up. This is getting
really annoying, I guess I can just never use it again??

I haven't looked here - but, you might want to if you haven't already:
http://search.microsoft.com/search/results.aspx?View=msdn&p=1&s=1&st=b&qu=visual
+studio+2003+hotfix&na=54

Thanks for the link, but I was unable to find my situation listed there.

Also, I have discovered that it is not just the event wizard, but it is all
of the mfc wizards that you can use to add code to a class (events, messages,
and overrides). And, more importantly I have discovered that the problem is
not a general problem with visual studio, but rather a problem with the
project I am working on. I am using a template project that is from vs6,
maybe that is the problem? When I create a new project the wizards seem to
work. I am not sure what could cause this, but maybe someone can give me some
tips as to what to look for.

You could try deleting the .ncb (intellisense database) file and do a
rebuild to recreate the file.  Maybe its hosed

Thanks, but that didn't fix it.
