I downloaded VS 2005 Professional beta twice and none of the tools I used
recognizes the file.
The tools I used are:
   1). IsoBuster v1.7
   2). Daemon Tool

I also downloaded VS 2005 standard beta and VS 2005 Team Suite beta. They
have been installed successfully. Does anybody know what is going on? Thank
you in advance

Download the Microsoft Vcd Control tool from the MSDN downloads. I have used
it sucessfully several times.

On a similar note, can I install the VS2005 beta and still run VS2003
on my machine at the same time?

I would assume this is not recommended?

Hi Jimski,

Actually, there are no serious issues with having both platforms and IDEs on
the same machine. I have noticed a glitch in creating a Service Setup
project in VS.Net 2003 with VS.Net 2005 installed, but it seems to have no
effect on the end product. However, there is definitely a bug in VS.Net 2005
with regards to creating a Service Setup project that prevents it from being
able to install correctly. I get around that by using installutil instead.
Also note that I've only observed this behavior with regards to Service
Setup projects.

This is kind of embarrassing, but would you please give me a pointer? I
really couldn't find it. Thanks.

It is available to MSDN subscribers at
http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/vs2005/

The download is fairly large at just under 3GB.
