Does anyone know if DTSs from SQLServer can be exported
and saved in VSS for versioning?  Same question about OLAP
Cubes contained in Analysis Services.

Thx!

I think only stored procedures can be versioned with the integrated SQL
Server support. If you export to text files, you can certainly add them with
the VSS Explorer.

Thanks, Joe.  I discussed the DTS issue with our DBA, and
there is a way to export the package, and store it off to
VSS.

Also, I was reading a book called "SQLServer 2000 Resource
Kit", and there is a MetaDataScripter utility which allows
you to export an OLAP definition as a text file, which can
be put into VSS.  The cool thing is that you can recreate
the OLAP cube from the definition, and then reprocess the
cube, and *voila* you're back in business.
