Hi,
When i try to log in my VSS database,i browse for my
sourcesafe.ini file,select it and say open.The file
somehow does not get selected in my list of available
databases. This problem is having only one particular
machine. From other machine i can log in my database.
Can the reason be ,my not being the administrator of this
machine, and opening the database for the first time might
require admin privileges on this machine.
If anybody can help.
Please mark a mail to my Id
regards
hari

Hi Hary,

It could be a bug. If the DB is on the share then try changing the
"Database name" after you selected srcsafe.ini file. For example if by
default it is "\\Server\Share" try changing it to "Share on Server. Try
mapping the share to a local drive letter.
