We use PCNFS to mount a Unix drive containing a shared
work area. We have multiple users that have the smae
default Unix group and all of the directories in the
shared workarea are writeable by the group. Each user
maps the PCNFS network drive using their Unix login.
VSS 6.0 will not successfully check-in, check-out, or
get-latest-version if the user performing the
operation is not the owner of the file. It works
perfectly fine if the user is the same.
Is the problem that PCNFS is ignoring the group
membership? Is there a setting that I can change
on either the client or server side?
How can I fix this?!!?!?
Thanks,
- Harry

Can you give the group owner permissions? Just a guess.
