Hi,
my problem with vss 6c is that i made a backup from all
projects using the admin tool. I restored them on an
other machine. This worked perfect. But now each vss
project file (.scc) contains the path to the old
server "\\oldserver\VSS". The integrated vss tool in vb
outputs an error because i have locked the old database
an the old server. How can i map the path to the new
server?
Do i have to change the path manually in each folder on
each vss client????
Did i make a mistake while backing up the old database?

regards
Ruedi

Can you take the old server off line? If it's not found, you might be given
an opportunity to connect/bind to the new server.
