When I go to history and select share for a Label it takes
2 days for the new project and it's files to be created.
Why does it take soooo long? What am I doing wrong? Please
email or post if you have any answers.

Thanks
Lorne

Two things to try to speed this up.

1) Do the share and branch directly on the server.
2) Disable real time virus checking

Thanks Chris

I tried what you said and still it takes 2 days on the server to share a
project. Mind you I was on terminal server running the process, but this
should be the same as being directly on the server?. Would the share and
branch at the same time make it go faster, I currently only do a share on
the project? Also we have no virus checking running on the server, so that's
not a problem.

Hi, Lorne,

I haven't heard of others having this kind of speed problem. If you do the
share at the computer instead of over terminal services is it any faster?

Also, how many projects/files are you sharing?

Joe
