I am using Visual SourceSafe together with MS Access
since version 97, through 2000 up to version 2002.
So I have a lot of Access 2002 projects in SourceSafe
database.
Now I installed MS Access 2003 over existing MS Access
2002 and it seems that VSS works also with MS Access
2003, but there is an interesting problem: When I create
database (MDB) from SourceSafe project, all linked tables
to MS SQL Server 2000 are recreated as native tables in
new created MDB and data from SQL Server are copied
there! So instead of front-end MDB which uses SQL Server
as backend I have front&back-end MDB which contains code
and data together.
So for the moment I cannot move my development platform
to MS Access 2003 because of incomplete integration
between VSS and MS Access 2003.
Is there any patch or any settings which will help to use
both tools together?
Thanks!

Hi Georgi.
There are a number of discussions about MS Access 2003 and VSS
integration. It seems that with MS Access 2003, VSS integration is no
longer supported (at least 'at the present time'). Others are
reporting that VSS 6.0D (last version of OfficeDevXP was 6.0C) breaks
integration in the older apps.
Here is the thread detailing the current situation (and notes about
how to let MS know if you are displeased).
