I receive the following message when trying to run an
Analyze and Repair with the -c, -f, -i and -b options.

File J:\cjmtk\data\status.dat is already open

There are not any users logged into VSS at the time when
the Analyze and Repair is being started, I do not
understand how a file could be open without any users. How
can this be corrected.

Thanks for any and all help.

Hi Pat,
It would appear that something has the file open - anti-virus - perhaps?
Can you reboot the machine? You could use HandleEX to find out what has the
open handle.
