I'm trying to implement source control for VS 2003. So far I do not
see any options for checking in/out files or anything to do with
source control (VSS, CVS, nothing). I installed SourceSafe 2005, but
it is not integrating with it. My registry variables are:
Key Name: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE
\SourceCodeControlProvider
Class Name: <NO CLASS>
Last Write Time: 8/2/2007 - 5:57 PM
Value 0
Name: ProviderRegKey
Type: REG_SZ
Data: Software\Microsoft\SourceSafe
Value 1

Type: REG_SZ

Key Name: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE
\SourceCodeControlProvider\InstalledSCCProviders

Last Write Time: 8/4/2007 - 2:41 PM

Name: Microsoft Visual SourceSafe (Internet)
Type: REG_SZ

But nothing comes up to do with source control. I do not see File-
>Source Control or Tools->Options->SourceControl. There is nothing
about source control in this installation of studio at all. Is there
some way to turn on source control as an option? How do I tell it how
to look for this plugin?
