Hi, I'm able to get a file's history using a specific date range
through the gui but can't get it to work from the command line.

I use the 'From' and 'To' dates in the 'History Options' dialog box
and get 2 results.

Now I try my command-line command:

SS.EXE history $/DEV/MVDE/build.xml -R -
Vd06/12/07;12:00a~05/20/07;12:00a -Yusername,password -I-Y

for this I get 'Version not found'

I have tried playing with the syntax, using different delimeters,
eliminating leading 0's, reversing the dates, reversing day and month,
removing the times, using a single date rather than a range -- always
the response is 'Version Not Found'.  It's clear from the gui that the
dates are there; I just can't seem to get my point across on the
command line?

Please help!  I've been guessing at this for hours today and on
previous days!

Hi David,

I didn't see anything wrong in your command. To pinpoint the cause you
can try removing the entire date/time to see if the history results
get listed. If yes, it indicates the problem is with the date/time.

By the way, I think switch -R is not necessary here.

HTH,
