VSS 2005 "show history ..." problem

I have checked out/in a file several times and labeled them. When I right
click on that file and select "show history ..." with date range and user,
nothing is shown.
What is the problem?

No clue.  What do you get if you specify a blank data range and user?

I found the fix on the web, the fix is to change the timezone settings.
