Each user has to create a new copy of the Access db from Sourcesafe. The
sourcesafe add-in has to be installed on each developer's workstation. On a
developer's workstation, open Access but don't open a db. On the Tools menu,
Sourcesafe, choose to create a new db from Sourcesafe. You have to keep that
db in the folder in which you created it, with the same db name. Now that
developer should be able to check out objects, update them, and check them
back in. Other developers can either recreate their local db from Sourcesafe
to get the updates, or right-click the particular object and choose Get
Latest from the popup menu.

Paul,
Thank you, we'll give it a go. Any objections if I get back in touch if we
run into any snags? Or have any additional queries?

Feel free to contact me. If it's not of general interest, you can use the
email address in this message by removing "hideme".
