reestablish homepage for help on Visual sourceSafe (Cont'd)

Hi, I am posting again, I posted a message with the info below the ---
hoping someone would be able to help me. Anyway here is more info,
while working in SourceSafe if I click on Help then contents it is
supposed to go to the VSS online documentation but instead I get the
following:

Action canceled
Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested.

The page might be temporarily unavailable.

Please try the following:

Click the Refresh button, or try again later.

If you have visited this page previously and you want to view what
has been stored on your computer, click File, and then click Work
Offline.

For information about offline browsing with Internet Explorer, click
the Help menu, and then click Contents and Index.

Recently I downloaded the SP6 for VSS, and when I extracted the files
and double clicked the EXTRACTED ssusexp.chm file, it came up with
the help website with all of the information needed when looking at
help to contents in VSS. Can someone tell help me on how to fix
this? I tried taking the extracted chm file and overwrote the
existing chm file, but it had no effect.

Hi, In Visual SourceSafe when I try to access the help it show the help as
being offline.  I assume it goes to the help manual that is online at the
Msdn.  How do I restablish this connection to be able see the help.  

Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mary,

Unfortunately this is not so much help for you but just to say I have
encountered the same problem so was hoping someone would come up with an
answer.

Perhaps you have a solution!

Is the help file stored on a network drive? If so, the problem may be
caused by a security update that Microsoft made available in mid-June,
and that blocks access to HTML Help files stored on network drives. See
this page for more information and workarounds:
