Hi!
After a system crash I had to backup all my data and reinstall
windows. Now I have reinstalled Sourcesafe. But opening my old
database SS conects to it, but it has no projects or files in it.
How can I get my history back?
I backedup my sourcesafe folder with the srcsafe.ini, user.txt and the
data and user folder. And in my projects folder there are these files
from SS like (solutuionname).vssscc and (projectname).vcproj.vspscc
and so on.

Is there a solution for my problem?

Thanks for any help!

Do you have lots of files in the restored data folder? If so, perhaps you're
not actually connecting to the right database. Maybe you're seeing the one
that was created when you installed the new VSS. Use the File->Open database
command from VSS Explorer to navigate to the restored database. If they are
one and the same, perhaps you didn't back up enough, though I'm not sure
what more would make a difference.
