Hi Guys,

Hope you guys can help me out.

We are using VSS6.0 in our project for version controlling since year
2001. We usually check out files to working folder to the client
machine and while check in it will over-write the file in the project
folder in the server. lately few weeks before we created new VSS
project for different project folder. but now, whenever you check in
the file it saves the latest version in vss itself, and not over
writing the files in the project folder. existing VSS project is
working just fine.

Do you know why this is happening. anybody encountered the same
problem.

Thanks in advance
kali.

Hi,

Are you using the 'shadow folder' feature. Is that what you mean by 'project
folder'? If so, then you probably just need to set up the shadow folder in
vssadmin and do a first-time 'get latest version' to that folder.
