Does anyone know where I can find some info on using VSS with Access 2003?
Everything I can find describes previous versions of Access.

TIA

hi,

"Description of the files and the service packs that you have to have so
that you can use an Access database under Visual SourceSafe control in
Access 2003"

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;837136

it contains the download-link for the vss-addin for access 2003 too...
btw, working with sourcesafe hasn't changed much over versions...

hope this helps

Thanks, but I already had that info. What I am really looking for is some
specific guidance on using the various features of VSS with Access, i.e.,
best practices, thing to avoid, what to watch out for etc.

The only thing I'm aware of to keep an eye on is that if you check in a code
module, it decides the module is not 'dirty' - whether it needs a save or
not.  If you then leave the database without saving anything - you need to
do a checkout, undo checkout, lose local changes.  There's more detailed
info here:
