Hmmm ... I believe the most current version ships with the .NET environment.
So unless you are programming with .NET, I would just load VSS 6 and be done
with it.

There must be some info on it, features, etc on their website.. but where?
We do have VS.net pro, but it doesn't have VSS. Also, we want to use it for
other version control, for people not using VS. There must be a standalone
product?
You make it sound free! 'Just load VSS6' is an awful lot of cash for
something that is already on the obsolete list.. Know what I mean?

I also tried to find specs on the newest version and didn't see it anywhere
on MS's website.
Anybody know the appropriate URL?
