How to Add Files from SourceSafe into Local project

Hi,
We are two developers working on this project . We are using Studio .Net and
doing the development on over Local desktops. Now we are using the
SourceSafe prog for the version control.
The problem is, If the other developer has created a new file local on his
machine and added and "Checked IN" it to the Source safe then how do i add
that file into my Local project copy. I tired "get latest Version" but that
is not working. I am missing any thing.
Please help.

try the Get Latest on the solution instead of the project / file.
