I haven't had any sleep for the last two days since Microsoft had made the
Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005 available for download.  Every time I
try to install them I get an error :1335 and it says about some specific
files are missing Or, the CD/DVD is damaged and the missing files are not
same all the time either.  I had tried the installation  by burning the .iso
to dvd's and also I tried the Microsoft Virtual CD also.  Not only that, I
have tried the CD version and the DVD versions.  So, am I the only one having
this problem or others have the same problem.

Please help me out so that I can get some sleep.

Thank you

I had the same problem with both the VS and SQL Server DVDs, as well as the
VS CD set.  I found that extracting the files with WinRAR and running setup
from the HDD worked best for me, but YMMV.

Regards,

Richard Hein
