Cannot install visual studio 6 in sp2 machine

HI,
I cannot install the visual studio 6 in my windows xp sp2  system.. The
installation continues until 99% and finally thro's this messages

1)dlgobjs.dll was unable to register itself in the system.

2)The instruction at "0x110003a0c" refereced memorty at "0x11003a0c". The
memory could no be "written".
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

Some of my friends installed in their machines ( windows with sp2) while
switching off the windows firewall , but i tried this method also ... it
didn't work.
what is the problem

I have the same error when I tried to install Visual Studio VB6 on my Windows
Server 2003 system. I'm looking for the answer also
