I get an error that the .net framework 2.0 failed to install. This is
already installed on vista.  It should skip this.  How do I work around
this?

To get VS 2005 Final to install on  5231, I had to do this:

1)  Run the MSXML6 install from the WCU directory
2)  Copy the DVD to a hard drive, edit BASELINE.DAT in the setup directory,
in the [gencomp6] section set BlockorWarn=0.  This will defeat the pointless
check for SP2

Install.

I'm still having troubles with Pocket PC programming, as Vista won't install
ActiveSync, and VS 2005 requires it.
