I have MSDN universal, and when I try to install Visual Studio.net, I have no
choice of location to install to.  It defaults to my C: drive, and the browse
button is disabled.  My C: drive is nearly full, and it would leave me with
an unacceptably low amount of free space to put it there.  I have a new drive
that I have dedicated to install of MSDN, and wish to put it there.  How can
I change the install location?

Ack!!

I have a utility called Fixit Tools. Supposedly, it has the ability to
re-link your registry to moved programs. In other words, you could make room
for your visual studio by installing fixit tools and moving programs that
won't crash the entire system to another drive and it is supposed to be able
to find the new locations and relink it all up again. I suggest making
backups of your drives before attempting this. I've moved lots of stuff by
hand, by moving the items, then searching the registry for references to the
programs, but you gotta be careful as a brain surgeon, I got a lot of stuff
moved, and I consider myself incredibly lucky I was able to move it. I
figure that if some moroon like me, can do it, a program ought to be able
to.

This inability to install on another drive is terrible!! I hope you get a
work around for that one.
