Better to uninstall VS2003 before installing VS2005 Beta 2?

I've heard some folks have had trouble with VS2003 co-existing with VS2005
Beta 2.  To be sure I don't have any trouble, I'm thinking about
uninstalling VS2003 first, then installing VS2005 Beta 2.

I have the .NET Framework 1.1 installed.  Should I upgrade the Framework 2.0
before installing VS2005 Beta 2?

Other suggestions for a belt-and-suspenders VS2005 Beta 2 install?

Thanks in advance.

Mr. Tim Macaulay[MSFT] posted in this group earlier saying it is OK for them
to co-exist. But I have some doubt myself-especially when one's primary role
is doing ASP.NET development, IIS needs to pick a .NET framework to work
with, isn't it? where is the switch?

Maybe Mr. Macaulay could help me clear this up. Thanks!
