Hi.

Thinking about getting VS.NET 2003 Pro. and have some questions:

1: Does it have the Activation copy protection scheme?

2: Will the US version install on international OS's?

3: Isn't 2005 just around the corner?

4: Do upgrade/c-upgrade versions require any proof-of-upgrade confirmation
when ordering?

Thanks

Goran,

These are great questions.  Let me see if I can help you out with them.

1: Does it have the Activation copy protection scheme?

[Tim Macaulay] Only the VS03 Academic and VS03 Trial Versions have the
Activation process.

2: Will the US version install on international OS's?

[Tim Macaulay] Yes, the English Version of VS03 will install onto an
International OS.

3: Isn't 2005 just around the corner?

[Tim Macaulay] Yes.  VS05 is around the corner.  The exact release date I
am unsure of, but we are at Beta 2.

4: Do upgrade/c-upgrade versions require any proof-of-upgrade confirmation
when ordering?

[Tim Macaulay] Upgrades require proof of previous version when installing
the product.

I hope the answers above help.

Cheers,
Tim Macaulay
