Error in VS 2005: Toolbox Controls not visible

Hi,

I've got VS 2003 installed and I'm trying to install VS 2005 Beta 1
.

It installs fine, but no controls are listed in the ToolBox.

If I try to do a "repair" install, it fails, with only suggestions of
things to try ( very general, like "check out this 3 page article on
clean booting Win XP). I tried most of those suggestions. No luck.

I've tried: Uninstall, followed by a clean boot of Win XP Pro.

I've had VB 2005 B1 installed on this machine before, and it was
working. Removed it b/c of a conflict with VS 2003.

Any suggestions?

Followup:

When create a new vb.net Windows project and try to EDIT the form in the
project, I get the following error:
