Is there anyway I can get both VS2005 beta 2 CTP June and
SQL 2005 beta 2 June both installed on the same PC. The
VS2005 installs a newer version of the framework then the
SQL 2005 beta 2 June install wants and they both complain
about each other.

I would think that the different Microsoft departments would
work a little more close together when they both make releases
only days apart based on different version of the framework.

MSDN says:
SQL June with TFS April
TFS June with SQL April

I am currently trying to determine if TFS can, in fact, be installed with
SQL June. If I am successful, I will cover the means of getting it done.

I was able to install SQL June and then uninstall only the .NET 2.0
framework and then fully install VS2005 CTP June. Everything works
in VS and in SQL except for the "SQL Server Management Studio" which
just AV,s and crashes big time. It is a shame since the SMS is the
most productive tool for setting up a new system. If can figured out
what the SMS is looking for maybe I can configure it to use the
newer assemblies ( but I doubt it ).
