when i try to start a new project i keep getting the error "classfactory does
not support selected class"...any suggestions?

I have seen this error before, and it has to do with a problem in the
Windows Scripting Host.  Download and install the Microsoft Windows
Scripting Host 5.6.  This should resolve the issue for you.
