Hello,

If I install VS .Net 2003 French, then MSDN libray Oct 2004 or Jan 2005
(checking the box "Integrate with Visual Studio"), even on a fresh installed
computer, the help is empty.

Launching the help neither from Visual Studio not from the start menu
display the library. Indexes are empty, filters only shows "(no filter)",
TOC is empty.

My searches (KB) did not help me.

I noticed this behiaviour on 3 diffrent computers, running XP or 2003 (all
in French).

Thanks for any help, I miss a lot the "F1" key :)

Hi Steve,

I haven't heard of this being a widespread problem and I don't have a copy
of French to try and repro this at the moment.

It sounds like you are trying to launch the Help documentation using the
Documentation shortcut under Visual Studio 2003.

Can you try to launch the MSDN Library using the MSDN Library shortcut and
see if your help works?
Microsoft Developer network"->"MSDN library ..."

It does not solves the problem. I tryed from Visual Studio (F1) and from the
start menu (Visual studio documentation or Msdn libray)
I even tryed to enter directly the help url (ms-help://...) ... but it does
not work.

I solve my problem using a MSDN dvd ... not the downloaded image.
I suppose a corrupted installation files was the problem.

Thanks
Steve
