When I run the setup program for Visual Studio.NET and select the second
item (Visual Studio .NET), why do I get a message box with the caption
"Single Disk Branding Setup" and the text "Command line option syntax error.
Type Command /? for Help."
If I knew which command, and, what arguments, perhaps I would, but I don't
know that.
Any ideas?
The other three options work just fine.
I am able to get to the setup menu for "Visual Studio .NET" by going to
expilicit setup.exe, but that leads to further problems. What I really want
to do is have VS recognise the Pocket PC 2003 emulator. I am led to believe
that doing a refresh/reinstall will cause the emulator to appear. Sadly
that hasn't been the case.
I have reinstalled VS, uninstalled and installed VS and still no 2003
emulator AND I still have the original problem. HELP!

Make sure you don't have an entry somewhere in the registry (such as App
Paths or the compatibility entries) for a program called setup.exe. I think
you may find if you examined the path to that running executable that it
isn't the VS one but something else.
