Hi, I have Windows XP sp 2 on my system, and I am trying to install VS6.0
onto it. However, I can't get any further than selecting the components,
because it then gives me the following:
"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application."
Do I need to change my OS?
Thanks!

No you do not need to change your operating system.
Send me an email directly and I will send you a tool to get around the
error. You may have success in the Windows Safe Mode environment as well.
However, the more important thing is that there is a problem wtih the
16-bit subsystem of the Windows XP Operating System. You may want to check
into this.
