Can I install just Visual Studio 6.0 on Windows XP? Do I really need
BackServer? I am looking for a "basic" solution! I do not need a lot of fancy
rigamarole. Please help soonest! There are time limitations involved. Thank
you in advance for your ideas.

Yes.  It is possible to install VS6 onto a Windows XP machine.  Are you
receiving a specific error message?  If so, you might want to email me for
a tool that I have that will assist in installing the product onto a
Windows XP machine.

on a XPpro box and need the tool you mentioned???
Thanks
Russ
