Hi everyone and thanks for Tim's work in advance,

now, i got in a trouble ,which is whether Visual Studio.net 2002 Enterprise
Architect could be installed on Windows 2003 server correctly?

When i started to setup, the setup program would prompt me that the
components' version do not match the ones on system,so setup program  seems
want to replace them.

any advice is welcome.

I *think* it is merely wanting to add .NET 1.0 alongside .NET 1.1.  They do
not replace each other.

True.  It may also have other components that it needs to install, such as
the Setup Runtime Files.

Hi flagman,

Not sure, but it looks like the message under the words Windows Component
Update.  Can you forward the exact error message?

I just finished reformatting and installing Windows 2003 Server Enterprise
and installing VS6 and VS2002 and VS2003 on the same machine without a
hitch.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,
