I got the program from school and installed it, but gave the discs back. When I installed Visual C++, I would get an error message when I went to certain websites that said things like, "ERROR. NULL TERMINATING CHARACTER ( and so forth) DO YOU WISH TO DEBUG?" I don't know if other people get this message when they're on the internet, but it's really annoying. I ended up uninstalling the program and deleting all the files from my computer, but when I'm searching around different sites on the internet, that error message still pops up all the time. Does anyone know if i missed uninstalling part of the program. I've run a search on my hard drive for visual studio and visual c++, and there's no files with those names. So i thought I'd gotten everything deleted. Is anyone able to help me?
thanks soooo much!

The setting you are looking for is found in your Internet Explorer
properties. Script Debugging is automatically enabled when you install
Visual Studio products and is not disabled when you uninstalled. This
behavior is by design and can be easily changed.
1. Run Internet Explorer
2. Click Tools>Internet Options
3. Click the Advanced tab
4. Check the box next to Disable Script Debugging and click OK
