I know there are other posts about this, but I am hoping someone out
there has the solution....

I installed vs2005, and it stopped vs2003 from working (IIS seemed to
break, debugging wouldn't work and any ASP.NET web application would
not work).

So, I quickly changed my mind, uninstalled vs2005, and restored the
"restore point" I had made before i installed......still broken :(

I am trying to uninstall vs2003 but thats giving me some grief. I gave
up trying to "repair" it as it seemeed to hang. Anyway, any other
things I need to do? I'm hoping that the re-install of vs2003 will
solve things but if it doesn't are there any other actions I can try?

Thanks in advance!

Matt.

When MSI really screws up you need to strip the MSI registry info and
delete folders by hand. :-( Better than uninstalling
