Hello!

At a recent conference I received a 60 day trial DVD of Visual Studio.NET
Professional. I am interested in exploring this software, but I am having
trouble installing it.

Details:

On initial install it stops and tells me I am lacking various prerequisites.
So, I follow the instructions to disconnect from the Internet, install IIS,
install the Frontpage extensions, apply security patches, and reconnnect.
Done. Now, I rerun the setup, it again stops and says I am lacking
prerequisites. I click on the link, a messagebox tells me that things are
installing, and then disappears. At this point, the setup fails. Further
attempts return me the same screen, and the same messagebox, with the same
results..

Any ideas?

Windows XP Professional, Office XP Developer edition...

Thanks!

Oh, for Pete's sake.. I went back to get the exact wording of the
messagebox, and I noticed for the first time in 20 or so attempts, that
there was a new, minimized window on the taskbar. Open the window.. there's
a EULA, and we are off to the races...

So,... Never mind...
