I had installed VS.net first in the pc. I also need to install VS in the
same one. However, when I click setup.exe inVS, the setup was halt. the
message "Setup is searching for installed component" was halt and no further
action.

Is it a problem of VS.net in the pc?? any piority if two VS installed in one
pc??

Million thanks.

Grey,

The following article should help you resolve the issue:

250343 PRB: "Invalid Command" or "Installation Wizard" Errors During Setup
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=250343

You can contact me directly, using timmac@microsoft.com.  I have a utility
that I can send you that may help you resolve the issue faster.
If it is haging, you should also be able to reboot into safe mode to get
the installation to work.

HTH,
Tim Macaulay, MCSD
