how do i configure visual studio to recognize MSDN after visual studio has
been installed without MSDN disks?

i installed visual studio 6 but do not have an older copy of MSDN.  the
visual studio install did not like my newer version of MSDN and would not
recognize it.  i continued with the install and installed MSDN separately.

how do i link this install of MSDN to visual studio in order to have
integrated help?

thanks for any help.

Hi Ken,

Actually the last version of the MSDN Library to work with Microsoft Visual
Studio 6.0, is the MSDN Library October 2001.  If you have a newer version
of the MSDN Library, then you will need to utilize it as an external
application.
