Hi,

My VS2003 EntArch was working fine. I installed WebMatrix to try it
out. Now when I start VS I see the splash screen and then it hangs.

Any idea what got messed up and/or what I should do to fix it?

Thanks,
John

John,

If you are on Windows XP, then you can use the Msconfig.Exe utility to
shutdown different processes to see if you have any different reaction from
vsnet.

Specifically, what happens, if you disconnect from the Internet, and then
shutdown the Anti-Virus / Firewall software?  Does Vsnet still hang?

Cheers,
Tim Macaulay

Yes, I'm running WinXP Pro. Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a shot.
