I would just like to add that I have MDAC 2.8 installed on Windows XP Pro SP1 (up to date) on a Dell Inspiron 8500 (P4 2.4m, 512mb RAM, 60Gb HD etc)

VS.NET 2003 Pro still refuses to install at the very end of the installation, making it very annoying to fix.

Hello

If you could forward me the verbose log directly, I will take a look at it
for you and get back to you.  You can find this log in the %temp% directory.

Start > Run and type %temp% and then click Ok
Locate the vsmsilog*.txt where that * represents four random characters

Cheers,
