Hi all

When I first installed VSDotNet configured for TAB interface, I had the
Output window on the TAB bar.
I don't know what I have done and now appears as docked window.
Anyone knows how to move it to the TAB bar again??
Thank you in advance for any help

Regards

Hi Gross,

You should be able to drag the window over to the tabs and it should
re-engage itself with the other windows.

Let me know if this works for you.

Thanks

Can you send a screen shot of what you are seeing?

Thanks

Hi Tim

well what exactly to send??
Anyway the situation in details is as follow.
The "output window" can be docked to all directions North,West,South,East.
When i right click it and select "Docking" from the menu i can move it.If i
move it to the TAB it just dock North(Upper Screen). No matter where it was
before.
No matter if i have only the Menu bar or menu bar and toolbars.
I tried also making it "Floating" but nothing happens.

It is very annoying to use it that way. I double click an error message and
i have to use the mouse to move to appropriate file.

regards

Hey Gross,

Thanks for getting back to me.  I hope that I can explain this better,
because it is the only way that I know of to accomplish this task.

1. Move the output window over to the center of the screen
2. Set the Tab Bar to be "Dockable" and not "Auto Hide"
3. At the bottom, you will see the different TABS - Contents, Index, etc...
4. Drag the output window over to the TABS
5. While holding the Left Mouse Button down, and dragging the output window
over top of the TABS, you will see the outline of the docked window appear
that you are about to drop.
6. Once you see the outline of the window, let go of the mouse button.

HTH.

Hi Tim

unfortunately , this is not working.
I tried every possible combination, even using dragging with CTRL,SHIFT and
ALT keys pressed.
Nothing happens

I wonder if there is any Registry entry to fix this.

Hi Gross,

I am still researching this for you.  I think it may be better if we take
this one offline.  Can you send me an email directly.

Cheers,
