Is it possible to run VS.NET on XP Home?
Alden Raymundo [MSFT] - 21 Nov 2003 16:25 GMT
Yes, but you'll be minus the ability to create Web Applications or Web
Services unless you have a secondary machine that has IIS installed (to act
as remote web server for those apps), as WinXP Home does not include IIS.
I'm not sure about this, but I think that Web Matrix may allow you to use
ASPNET technology without IIS... you may want to investigate this as an
alternative.
