Hi there,

After installing VStudio on a XP Pro machine, I ran it and tryed to create a
new Web Application project.
After naming the web application and clicking the OK button, I always get
the following popup message: "VC package not found or unregistered"!
It doesn't allow me to create projects!

Can you help me?

Thanks,
dio

Dio,

Great Question!

I have seen this error before when the installer did not properly register
the tlb files during the installation of vs.net.  If you run a repair
installation, it should correct the issue.

You will find more information in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base
article.

Thank you,
Tim Macaulay

 Hi,

I'm getting the same error message.  Did you get a
