I downloaded the evaluation Visual Studio 2008 edition from MS's site and installed it. My 90 days are just about up.
I purchased a MSDN Premium subscription which obviously has Visual Studio in it.
I don't want to necessarily uninstall my existing VS installation because I don't know what it will delete on the system. Do you just install the VS from my MSDN subscription over the existing installation?
I am in middle of a project and really hate to screw-up my system. Can someone offer advice?

You cannot add the MSDN key to your existing installation, because the MSDN version of VS 2008 embeds the key in the distribution media. You'll have to uninstall the eval (before it expires) then install the MSDN VS 2008.
To be sure you completely remove the eval and all its components, check this out:
